Roberto received his associates degree at Florida International University in 1982 before going into the
Navy and becoming a Hospital Corpsmen serving at San Diego Hospital in California and Portsmouth
Hospital in Virginia. After leaving the Armed Forces he attended Miami Dade Community College and
then Barry University, where he graduated with his BSN in 1990. After working one year at Jackson
Memorial Hospital Ryder Trauma Center he was accepted in the Nurse Practitioner program at Florida
International University and graduated with honors in 1992. After working in a Family Practice setting
for one year he started his own Internal Medicine Practice in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he was part
owner, Medical Provider, Office Administrator, Research Coordinator, Environmental Health Provider,
and X-Ray technician. He remained there for 17 years building a large and successful practice before
joining South Miami GOG. On a special note, in 2008 Roberto became Board Certified in Anti-Aging
Regenerative and Functional Medicine after three years of intense post graduate studies. Roberto
continues to treat patients who seek optimal health and the best quality of Life and longevity using
bio identical hormones, nutraceuticals, diet and exercise. Roberto also counsels and treats patients in
weight loss and cancer prevention. |
