Kristin is an oncology certified nurse that comes to us from North Carolina with approximately seven years of oncology nursing experience. She is a 2003 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing. During nursing school, she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the honor society of nursing, for academic excellence. In 2007, she was also awarded the Graduate of the Last Decade (GOLD) award from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing. Following graduation, Kristin worked at Duke University Medical Center for approximately six years. During her time at Duke University Medical Center, Kristin worked in a variety of clinical settings including, inpatient hematology-oncology, outpatient chemotherapy infusion, outpatient gynecologic oncology, and research clinical trials for gynecologic oncology. Kristin joined our team in October of 2009, when she relocated to this area. |
